November 14, 2003 - St. Augustine Alligator Farm, Part 1

We drove ourselves to St. Augustine on November 14th and spent the day at the Alligator Farm.  It was a busy day and there were more than just alligators and alligator relatives in this zoo.

A toucan:

But there were many American Alligators also:

Including albino ones:

Each animal had a nice sign explaining them:

These are young American Alligators:

This is a stuffed crocodile, we think it was a Salt Water one:

We didn't get to see the live Giant Salt Water Crocodile since the exhibit was being renovated.

The Alligator Farm is the only zoo with all Crocodilian species on display, like this New Guinea Crocodile:
