We had been to Acapulco before and took the full tour, including the cliff divers, so this time we didn't book any tours. Acapulco is hot and humid and has a nice setting:

We did venture into town and did some shopping, we were not looking for much this trip and bought a belt buckle and some vanilla.

Celebrity was having problems with the propulsion pods on some of the sister ships to the Summit, so they were inspecting them often. The company eventually sued the maker of the pods from the problems they had. Luckily our cruise was not affected.
