When we stayed in the area in 2002 we were told the Verde Canyon Railroad was a must take, but we didn't get to it. Now we had our chance. We called for tickets and only first class was available, so that is how we traveled. Here we are waiting to board.
Each closed car had an open car assigned to it, since first class had less passengers we had more room on the open car also.

At the end of the line they move the engine and this guy was ready for the shot. We took a small video of the engine going by but it was not that good.
