We drove to the Lake Louise Gondola to see if it was busy and found out we could get right on. Some days the Gondola is the way to see Grizzly Bear. The gondola is for skiers in winter, but in summer it is for the view.

No luck seeing Grizzly Bears, but it was a pretty ride. The views from the top are wonderful and Lake Louise is visible with a telephoto:
There are more lifts for winter, but this is as high as it goes for summer:
There is a small visitors center near the top and we saw snow, but we needed to get back down and took the gondola down:
We got a nice telephoto view of Lake Louise, with the lodge very visible:
You can tell just how high the mountains are behind Lake Louise:
Unfortunately we didn't see any bears, but it was a beautiful ride.
