Moraine Lake did look different in the morning, the light was from another direction:
We decided we really should see Lake Louise, which we knew was crowded. Lake Louise Village, where the campground is located, is actually a few miles from Lake Louise and Moraine Lake. In the Lake Louise parking lot we saw a Yukon plate:
Here is a view of the famous Lake Louise Lodge:
Here is the lake, the scenery and the crowds:
Moraine Lake is just as pretty and much less crowded.
