June 20, 2007 - Day Trip to Cape Mears State Park

We picked up Diane's parents on June 20th and headed south and then east on US26 to Camp 18 Restaurant for lunch:

The food was quite good and then we toured.  Here is the famous bar made of one piece of wood:

Then we backtracked west to US101 and headed south to Tillamook and on to Cape Mears.  Cape Mears is the northern "cape" of the Three Capes Scenic Loop, which we last took in September 2004

We had ice cream at the cheese factory, it was quite good.
