We left Martinez and traveled 159 miles to Konocti Vista Casino RV Park in Lakeport, CA to visit family. Our last stay here was in April 2009. We again set up in the dark since we did not get an early start.
We left after getting mostly set up and headed to Kimberly's house in Kelseyville where Diane's parents also were.
In the morning we got the sunscreens on and finished our setup.

One day we met Dennis and Kimberly for lunch at Parkplace in Lakeport, which was very good.
Diane's other sister Misty came up with her daughters a couple days after we arrived.
Diane had two massages while in the area, they seemed to help her back pain.
One day we drove the hour and a half drive to Napa to get a steroid shot for Diane, hoping it would help her heal. The trip was very hard on Diane, riding in the car is hard on her. On the way back we had a nice meal at Pacific Mexican in Calistoga. Unfortunately the shot did not help Diane.
Mostly we were visiting everyone while here. It was cold and below freezing most nights.
December 31st we all traveled 171 miles to NACO Ponderosa in Lotus, CA for the weekend. Much of the campground was closed due to flood damage but both Diane's parents and ourselves were able to get campsites. Ours was especially a challenge since the rangers had to trim a tree to let us in. So again we were setting up close to dusk.
Kimberly's family had a nice cabin where we all went to wait for the new year. Here is Emily in the cabin.
She has Pink Eye and hates the drops but they did cure the problem.
