The "Rod Run to the End of the World" has been happening every year the weekend after Labor Day in Ocean Park Since we had people who liked cars, we went. It was a beautiful day, sunny but not too hot.
This is a dragster.
What we noticed were the paint jobs.
Even the engines.
Then there were the "rat mobiles" which are something of a joke, but an intentional joke.
This guy tried to weld as badly as possible.

Again.
That green shine is in the paint.
There are even classics that just look good.
It was fun, but for us it was a one time thing.
