Sunset magazine, which covers the western United States (and sometimes British Columbia), builds what they call "Idea Houses" most years. In 2001 they built one in Redmond, WA, within walking distance of Microsoft Corporations main campus. We decided to go look at the house in mid-September, which was showing off sustainable building materials.
We actually took a lot of pictures of the flooring choices and such, in case we wanted to use them in a remodel of our house. The Idea house was more our style than the Street of Dreams houses.
