September 30, 2007 - Miles 176 to 276 of the Blue Ridge, Part 1

September 30th we drove south through state and US highways to Jefferson, North Carolina where we found a Bojangles and had a nice lunch.  Then we entered the Blue Ridge Parkway about milepost 276 at Deep Gap and headed north.

We had some nice views:

In Appalachian speech "Dula" would be pronounced "Dooley" which is why it is the Grand Ole Opry instead of  Grand Ole Opera.

Nice MGB.  Bill remember his sister's MGA.
