The weather was great on our trip to Steamboat Springs and the scenery was great. These are photos along I-70 heading west:

We did see some bighorn sheep on the side of the interstate but could not get a photo.
The engine did alarm a few times above 10,000 feet elevation but we have been told this is common. We had lunch just below Vail Pass at a rest area where the rest room building was covered in snow.
