We stopped for lunch in Nelson at Beth's Twin Bluffs Cafe. A good choice and we had to try the pies they were advertising after our meal. Bill had rhubarb custard and Diane had caramel apple and both were quite good.
We decided to drive all the way to La Crosse, WI and cross back to Minnesota on the I-90 bridge. On the Minnesota side was a nice rest area with an information area:

It was getting late so we pushed our way home. We probably went a bit too far to the south in one day since it was 318 miles total and we were gone 8-1/2 hours.
