We drove up to Beatty to see the town and also to buy fuel since it was much cheaper than in the park. Then we drove back to Rhyolite, a place we had never stopped before.

Then we had our picnic lunch and headed to the Titus Canyon road, a road we had not taken before. We were told our 4WD CRV was fine for the road and that was correct.
It is a long road into the mountains.
Very scenic.
