We looked for a nice walk on a sunny day and the map showed a large city park, Minto-Brown Island Park, so off we went.
Lots of trails.
We did not see a cougar.
The start of the trail.
River and lake views.
Don't go straight.
Nettles, don't touch.
A close-up of nettles. Brushing against these feels like small bee stings. But cooked they are supposed to be tasty and nutritious.
The trail parallels the road on one side.
And then heads back.
More wildflowers.
Birds.
It was a very nice walk.
