November 23, 2012 - Tucson Botanical Gardens

We were told to see the gardens, especially the butterfly exhibit.

Nice sculpture by the entrance.

Lots of garden spots here.

The butterfly exhibit is a Tropical one, so it is inside a hot and humid area.  We went in and it took a while for the camera to be usable, it kept fogging up.  Eventually we were able to get some nice photos of these butterfiles.

We were checked for hitchhiking butterflies on our exit and then we went to see more of the gardens.

The garden has its own cat.

Here is a blow up of the cat from the photo above.

The cat also found the train set interesting.

Mostly the gardens are for the locals to see what grows and how to create nice garden spots.  There were also some birds and butterflies in the gardens but the only good photo was this Curved-bill Thrasher.

The gardens would be more interesting for a local, but the butterfly exhibit was worthwhile.
