March 14, 2007 - Apache Trail, Part 2

The drive down Lower Fish Creek Hill was easier going this way, we were against the hill instead of next to the cliff.  The next viewpoint we stopped was at Apache Lake:

We took the path down to the lower viewpoint.  Here is some cholla starting to bloom:

We drove down and had lunch at the Apache Lake Resort.  It was OK.

After the rest of the dirt road we got to paved road again and Roosevelt Dam:
