September 28the we drove south on I-81 to Roanoke, Virginia and found a Mexican restaurant for lunch. Some of the blandest Mexican we have ever had. From there we entered the Blue Ridge Parkway about mile 122 heading north:
We soon came to the turn off to take the Roanoke Mountain loop:

Then back to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Here is one of the bridges crossing over the parkway:
At milepost 115.1 we turned off to see Virginia's Explore Park, which has a Blue Ridge Parkway Visitors Center included.
