March 5, 2008 - Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge, Part 4

We headed for the manatee viewing.  You can barely see them, there are at least three here.

A back showing.

A snout.

This one came closer before heading back and being hard to see.

We left the manatees and went to the visitors center where we ended up looking at the fish.

And also saw a Florida soft shelled turtle.

While watching we ended up in a conversation with a woman about full-time RVing.  She was very interested and it would not surprise us to encounter her and her husband on the road.

We took the toll road back to Orlando and it was much faster, though they had construction at the final toll booth slowing traffic way down.  The $2.75 toll was worth it.
