We took a picnic lunch with us to Carlsbad Caverns, we did not need to pay to eat in the caverns again like we did in 2002. The visitors center is being remodeled, so everything is in trailers temporarily.
It was still a bit windy but the view was still great:
After eating our lunch we headed for the Natural Entrance:
There were a bunch of children on a field trip heading in so we let them go first. But others did not wait:

Bill brought a tripod for the camera this time, which really helped. We got many more photos and they were better than in 2002.
