April 23, 2008 - Trip from Steamboat Springs, CO to Brigham City, UT

The two lane roads of US40 and CO13/WY789 (same highway) took us to I-80 in Wyoming.  Here are typical views heading north:

The main problem was all the dead animals.  Elk, deer, pronghorn, some domestic sheep and an occasional coyote died in the winter and were decaying on the side of the road.  We think the smaller critters were dragged off by larger ones.
