There were huge numbers of grasshoppers jumping and flying as we walked. Bill tried to get video but the video couldn't do the subject justice.

We headed back and saw some nice wildflowers.

We walked back the way we had come and to the other end of the trail. More views.
After our hike we matched up with Don and Joy, whom we were hoping to see. We had a short visit. We had not seen them for a few years.
On the way back out the Texas Longhorn were visible. Here are a couple photos of them.
I think we would have done more if it wasn't 90 degrees the day we visited. But it was a good visit and we were glad to finally see the canyon.
