December 10 to 19, 2012 - Coalinga, Morgan Hill and Martinez, CA

We left Hesperia on December 10th and drove 246 miles to the Elks lodge in Coalinga CA.  Our last stop here was April 2, 2007.

It was getting dark and we we were the only ones here.

It was a cold night but we survived.

In the morning we drove 137 miles to TT Morgan Hill in Morgan Hill CA.  Our last stay here was in December 2010.

The weather was cool and somewhat wet for our visit.   We did see wild turkeys once.

One day we drove up to Saratoga and visited with Cathy and John, who were running the Christmas Tree lot again.  Then we had lunch at Red Robin and visited a Microsoft store for the first time.  That was an interesting experience.

While in Morgan Hill we mostly Christmas shopped.  We did have a nice lunch at Mama Mia, always a good place.

December 16th we drove the familiar 83 miles to park in front of Brian's place in Martinez CA.  Our last stay here was in December 2010.

It was rainy much of our stay.

One day the three of us walked the waterfront park.

With birds.

And derelict vessels.

With Brian we had meals out at Fortune City, Cinco de Mayo, Great Wall, and Mangia Bene.

Our last evening we had dinner at cousin Dianna's house.   Rose and John also made it over.  Here is Truman the kitten getting into trouble.  It was a great visit.

We again had a good visit with Brian and will be back.  Now we are off to Christmas.
