August 21 to September 2, 2013 - Chimacum, WA

We left Rochester on August 21st and drove 118 miles to Evergreen Coho SKP Co-Op in Chimacum, WA.  Our last stay was in July 2012.

Since it was later in the summer they put us on a lot, even though we were staying less than a month.

It was right across from Rosalie's lot, so very convenient.

But there was a septic problem with the lot so the next day they moved us to another, not as convenient to Rosalie, but still good.

Interesting sunset one day.

We visited with Nancie and Sandy a couple times, mostly meeting in Silverdale at Kings Wok and also visiting their house in Poulsbo. We were able to see the changes next door on that visit.

Still a nice view (click on the photo for a larger version):

Many came to visit Rosalie and some even came to visit us.  We had little down time.

Chris, Debbie, and Dave and Carol came and spent time visiting with the three of us for three different afternoons.  We had dinner at Scampi and Halibuts, really good, with Dave and Carol once they decided to stay late.

Chris (another Chris) came up without his wife, Diane, and visited before we tried Zoog's Caveman Cooking for dinner, a decent BBQ place.

We were able to get away with Dave and Connie to lunch at Siren's Pub one day and on our last day the five of us went to the Port Hudson Cafe for brunch and then did some touring of Port Townsend.  Port Hudson Cafe was really good.

The three of us also had meals at 123 Thai, Fiesta Jalisco, Red Robin, and a new place to us, Blue Moosem which was very good.

Now we are off to Eastern Washington.
