We left Jacksonville on December 3rd and drove 173 miles to Sumter Oaks SKP park in Bushnell, Florida. We last stayed here in November 2005, but also drove the car here and saw our friends Ken and Joan in December 2007 for a visit.
We ended up needing to put the satellite dish a long ways away:
Sandhill Cranes in the campground.
One day we drove up to the Villages and visited with Dave and Barb, who we had not seen since March 2008. They took us by this pond where birds come to roost for the night.

We drove over to Webster to see Dave and Elinore, whom we had not seen since January 2006. Here is their motorhome all decorated for Christmas.
The inside of their "suite".
Of course we managed not to get photos of Dave and Elinore. We had a great day including lunch at the Hayseed in Webster and dinner at Toojay's in The Villages.
In Sumter Oaks we also visited with Barry and Jan, who we had not seen since January 2007.
One last shot of a sandhill crane in the campground.
On our own we also ate at the Old World Restaurant in Floral City again, it was still quite good.
Now we are off to Port Saint Lucie.
