We are not seeing that great of weather this week. But we did have some clear and sunny days, even if they were not that warm.
Here is a red-shouldered hawk in a tree close the motorhome Monday the 8th in the morning.

About 11AM we were picked up by Bill and Helen to go to Daytona for the day.
With the motorhome washed and waxed Bill put the sunscreens on. These photos were taken on February 9th before the rain came.

On a rainy February 12th we met up with Dave at his place of work and Barb came to join us. We had not seen them since December. After showing us what he did at work we all headed to Steak & Shake in Silver Springs for a leisurely dinner. We will be seeing Dave and Barb again before we leave the area.
We are getting birds at the feeder and on the ground. They have been hard to photograph, especially with so much lousy weather. Evita has been really enjoying watching the birds.
We think this one in the next three photos is a Yellow-throated vireo.
This one only seems to photograph well from the back and we think is a Grasshopper sparrow.
We have also seen Carolina chickadees, Northern Cardinals, Tufted Titmouse and Eastern Bluebirds at the feeder and Brown-headed cowbirds on the ground. Evita gets excited when she see cardinals, she seems to remember the one that played with her in Clermont in October 2007 and again in December 2007.
In addition to Down Under and Steak & Shake we also found a nice Thai restaurant, Ayattaya, in Ocala and a nice Cuban restaurant, Chicken Time, in Belleview. We also took a Sunday drive on the 14th, Valentine's Day, and had lunch at Macaroni Grill in Gainesville.
The forecast is for mostly sunny days in the next week but it is not supposed to get warm until next weekend. We had frost on the ground on the 14th.
Dean and Janice are now back in this campground. Anne and Henry were dealing with some medical and remodeling issues and have left for a couple days but will be back during the week. We have plans to meet up with Dave and Elinore. It should be a busy week.
