December 5 to 11, 2011 - Wildwood, FL

We left Jacksonville on December 5th and headed Southwest and after 147 miles we were at Three Flags RV Park in Wildwood, Florida.  This was a new place for us.

We like it.

We had dinner at Dave and Barb's house and caught up with each other.  It was great.  We had last seen them in February 2010 where we took pictures.

Another day we went over to see Dave and Elinore's to see them and their new motorhome.

We had last seen them in the Branson, MI area in October 2010.

We had lunch at Chuck's Odd Cup Les Cafe in Bushnell, which was good, then came back and walked around their campground.  Here is another green and gold National RV Islander, an RV we might have bought.

We ended up out to dinner with Dave and Elinore at Toojay's in The Villages.

Another day we had an early dinner with Dave and Barb at Speckled Butterbean in Wildwood and then they came over to visit us and see Evita.

Another day we visited with Joel, whom we last saw in Tucson in November 2010.  The three of us went out to eat at Beef O'Brady's in Wildwood and it was very good. We thought we had tried a Beef O'Brady's before, but could not find any records of doing so. Now we know they are good.

Our last day we met up with Bill, Helen and finally met cyberfriends Steve and Lynette at Gator's Dockside in The Villages.  We had a great time and the food was good.

Here is a group photo taken by our Bill.

From the left is Helen (hiding), Lynette, Steve, Diane and Bill.

The last time we saw Bill and Helen was when we were all camped together in Silver Springs in February 2010.  It was also great to finally meet Steve and Lynette.  Our visit was too short, but we have plans to come back to the area.

Now we are off to Fort Lauderdale.
