March 30 to April 2, 2008 - Back to Blue Ridge Parkway

We left Florida after 25 weeks on March 30th and drove 234 miles to Comfort Inn RV Park in St George, SC for an overnight.   There was a lot of road construction through Georgia on I-95.  We also fueled up the motorhome for the first time since December, $387.09, ouch.

The car battery was dead and had acid on it, so we charged it up.

Not much of a place and it had been raining.  Good it was cheap using Passport America.

March 31st we drove to Creekwood Farm RV Park in Waynesville, North Carolina, just east of Asheville.  It was a 247 mile drive.

This is a very nice campground and also on Passport America.

With views.

We were glad to have revisited this area and especially glad to have found such a nice place to stay in the area.  The weather forecast is not looking good, so we are moving on.
