May 12th we traveled the very familiar 103 miles from Rochester, WA to Tall Chief RV Resort in Fall City, WA and got one of our favorite campsites:
Our last stay here was in July 2007.
Our time was spent visiting friends and family along with doctor and vet visits.

May 22nd we drove 35 miles to Thunderbird in Monroe. We were able to get a 50AMP full hookup site and use our Verizon aircard for internet. Our last stay was in May 2005.

Bill was able to set up the internet dish here after all since it was more consistent than the aircard.
Dara, who came all the way from the island of Jersey in the UK along with Lesley to be with friend John. (On July 1st, 2008 Lesley and John were married.)
Mount Vernon visit on May 30th
Having three weeks to visit and handle doctors and vets worked out quite well. We had multiple visits with many friends and relatives and had some nice meals out. We had Thai at both Thai Kitchen and Noodleland, we got our teriyaki fix at both Toshi's and Minami, and had other memorable meals at Pogacha, Coho Cafe, Malay Satay Hut, and Bangalore.
