July 17 to 31, 2007 - Fall City and Poulsbo, WA

On July 17th we made the very familiar 210 mile drive from Pasco to Fall City, WA and got our site at Tall Chief, the same one as our last stay in May.

Once we were setup we drove to Diane's aunt Chris's condo in Mukilteo for a party with Misty and the Girls.

With the party over we had to get to our main task, moving our storage from Woodinville to Poulsbo.  We already had the storage in Poulsbo rented, we just had to weed down our stuff and get it transferred.  The storage in Woodinville was not convenient and required us to put everything on pallets and cover with tarps in case the sprinklers went off.  It was a relief to remove the tarps so we could actually see our stuff.  Here are some views to show you we have way too much stuff:

We did take some time out and have a social life and visited multiple friends and family.

We visited with Peggy, Jim and McLean one evening at the rental house they are in while they remodel their house:

We went to a picnic at Remlinger Farms in Carnation, WA with an association we belong to:

At the picnic we met up with one couple we met in Quartzsite, AZ in winter and had no idea we were all members of this association.  We also met someone else we had known a long time and caught up on each other's lives.

On Monday the 23rd we were up very early and met the movers at our old storage unit and moved everything to Poulsbo.  We were home about 8PM.  The next day we swept out the old unit and closed our account.

On the 25th we made the also very familiar 109 mile drive to Eagle Tree RV Park in Poulsbo, where we were last in June.

Next to us was this interesting custom motorhome using a Volvo truck frame:

Our main reason to be in Poulsbo was the Family Gathering and all the visiting.

We did do a bit of reorganizing of the storage since it was close by.  The storage unit will be much more convenient in Poulsbo and the rent is cheaper.

We didn't add any new restaurants to our list, but repeated many from the past.
