May 7 to 13, 2012 - Rochester, WA

We drove 88 miles north to Outback RV Park in Rochester, WA on May 7th.  We stay here often, the last time in September 2011.

Bill's mother, Elena's, cats.  This is Meesha.

This is Zeena.

A chickadee at Elena's feeders.

May 9th the three of us headed to Mukilteo for one of Diane's appointments.  We stopped for coffee at a Panera Bread in Tukwila on the way and got to Mukilteo with plenty of time so we went to the park and watched the ferries.

We had lunch at Kafe Neo in Mill Creek before Diane's other appointment in Redmond.  Then we headed back south and had a good trip.

The next day we got up early and drove the motorhome 102 miles to Laurelhurst Distributers and RV Repair in Portland to get our air conditioner replaced.

Their setup to do the repair.  They did have a lift to put the units on and off the roof.

The broken unit, which was new on March 29th, had suffered a weak copper weld that caused it to trash the insides after only three weeks of usage.

Bill picked up take out at Sivalai Thai, which was close by.  It was quite good.

The old unit on the ground.

After they got done, we drove the 102 miles back to Outback.  Now we have two white air conditioner covers/shrouds even though only the back unit was replaced.

We spent most of the week with Bill's Mother but we did get some walks at a couple local parks.

Here is another photo of Meesha.

We took Elena to Budd Bay Cafe's Mother's Day Brunch, a tradition for us.

Photos and videos from walks in Tumwater Falls and Fort Borst Parks

We had one meal out with Elena, Ted and Linda at Falls Terrace.  We had meals out with Elena at Happy Teriyaki and Brewery City Pizza (new for us).  We had meals out on our own at Burgerville, Ramirez Mexican (new) and Oly Burger (new).

Now we are off to the Seattle area for our annual doctor visits along with visiting friends and relatives.
